Jenn + Jason

One of the most fun aspects of our “jobs” {I use the term loosely because, well, it doesn’t always feel like work when you have as much fun as we do} is really getting to know our brides & grooms.  Because we take what was once just a smattering of wedding day visions and ideas, and nurture them into a full-blown reality, it typically ends up that we kind of fall a little bit head-over-heels for our clients.  Sure, planning a wedding isn’t always puppies and rainbows {actually, we prefer animals be left out of the equation altogether, but that’s another story for another day} – but in this case, I can honestly say that planning their wedding was an absolutely blast.

We first met Jenn & Jason at our local Panera Bread – otherwise known as our “It’s a Shore Thing Satellite Office” – and instantly bonded over coffee and pastries {and likely more coffee}.  It was certainly a foreshadowing of very fun/yummy/awesome things to come.  Jason’s quick-wit and uber-sense of humor, and Jenn’s very sweet demeanor and equally awesome funny bone, immediately drew us in . . .  it was a match made in wedding planning heaven!!  Between Jason’s T-Rex t-shirt and our bride’s doppelganger namesake, they were truly a couple after our own hearts.

Throughout the course of planning one wedding, we probably exchange, on average, 150-200+ emails with our clients and related team of wedding pros.  It’s just part of what we do, and somehow, we always manage to get it all done.  Not surprisingly, Jason’s emails definitely always made us laugh – there was never a time we didn’t see his name patiently waiting in our Inboxes that we didn’t open the message with severe anticipation of some serious comedic relief.  Seriously, he’s one funny guy {and wicked organized – his lists ROCKED!}.  Our sweet bride Jenn was such a good sport – and always knew just when to chime in with some equally awesome and hilarious words of wisdom.  Between the four of us, I don’t know how we ever managed to get any work done, as we spent more time laughing than anything else.  But, as we always do, we got it done – and then some!  We brought together all the fun details for Jenn & Jason’s entire wedding weekend – everything from setting up the girls’ spa day with mimosas, coffee and donuts {one of the Jens may or may not have been forced to inhale a jelly donut en route to said spa day…}, to assembling welcome boxes with goodies, and arranging their fun slide show for the rehearsal dinner – we, with their utmost trust and appreciation – pulled it all together seamlessly.

Details are the name of our game, and, after picking their brains about their “guilty pleasure(s)”, we set out to blow this one out of the park.  Because Jenn is an avid Dunkin’ Donuts supporter {and by “avid supporter”, I mean, she evidently keeps them in business with her iced latte & Munchkin obsession}, we came up with the idea to have Jason surprise Jenn with a self-serve Dunkin’ Donuts coffee bar, complete with all the coffee yumminess you can possibly imagine.  Everything from different flavored K-cups, to adult-beverage coffee syrups, to, none other than, a whole sea of Dunkin’ Donut “Munchkins” – this was definitely a HUGE hit amongst their guests!!

And now, to show off the fun and the love and the pretty of this amazing wedding – for two very amazingly wonderful people!

Another reason we really, really loved our bride … her “something blue” was “something very awesomely-sparkly-blue”:

A million and one billion thanks to our uber-cool friends at Pure 7 Studios for capturing this amazing day for two very amazing people!!  And of course, as always, there are never enough thanks for us to send to our amazing team of wedding peeps who helped pull this wedding off without a hitch!

Jenn & Jason – we wish you guys a lifetime of happiness, and hope to see you guys again very soon!  {We’ve been in list-withdrawl, Jason!  If the doctor thing doesn’t work out, we may just need to hire you!}  ;-)

XOXO
