Jenn + Blake

When we say that we had a super-fun wedding season in 2011, we weren’t kidding.  We had the pleasure of working with some of THE best, sweetest, most fun brides and grooms on the planet {seriously, we’re pretty sure all our lucky stars aligned just right, and all the cool kids were sent our way last year}!!  Jenn & Blake were absolutely no exception.  And of course, with another Jenn in our lives, how could we NOT love her immediately?  Plus, that adorable New Orleans twang totally roped us in – we were hooked from our first conversation!

Speaking of New Orleans, today’s post couldn’t have come at a more appropriate time of year – not only has this New Orleans crowd given us some great material to write about, but today is our sweet bride’s birthday!  We absolutely adore our sweet Jenn to this day, and couldn’t have been more stoked to have had such an instrumental hand in pulling all the moving parts together to make her amazing vision a reality.  Not only does she have great taste {I mean, duh, she loves us for crying out loud…HA…ah, such jokesters, those Jens…}, but she is also one of the most genuinely sweet people we’ve ever met.  As I was picking out my favorite pictures, I noticed one very striking similarity in each: Jenn’s beaming ear-to-ear smile truly reflects the truly warm-hearted person we were so fortunate to get to know and love.  That Blake is one lucky guy – and you can really see it in his eyes, that he knows what a great catch he’s got.  So, Blake, we hope to hear that you’ve totally spoiled your sweet new wife today on her very famous day of birth … :)

So, in honor of Fat Tuesday, Mardi Gras {or, is that one in the same?  The Jens: <—Not so versed in the “parlez vous-ing of the francais”…}, and of course in honor of Jenn not looking a day over 21, we’re showcasing this amazingly beautiful, and out-of-this-world FUN New Orleans wedding!

The first of some uber-floral-prettiness:

Choo had us at sparkle and shine!

Yvette, putting the finishing touches on our gorgeous bride:

Our strapping, young groom:

This sweet little nugget didn’t stop smiling all day!

Our beautiful bride!!

…And her very beautiful girls!

Some very sweet ceremony shots:

This is SO Jenn!!!

Yes, of course we can fit 250 people on the green … we’ll even go out and measure, just to be sure :) {or, we’ll enlist the help of a very handy guy with a measuring thingie…}

See?  This is what it’s all about:

And, if you get married at the beach {especially with us and our amazing team of wedding pros}, you can be sure to walk away with some AH-mazing beach pictures.  No, really, we have proof:

And, on to the {amazing, very fun, very, very, very pretty, very swanky, over-the-moon-perfect} reception …

These works of tasty art NEVER, EVER, EVER get old… {le sigh…}

They were even all smiles through their first dance!  Love, love, love!

Incredibly sweet father-daughter & mother-groom dances:

Did we mention at all that this crowd absolutely, totally knew how to have FUN?  No?  Well, they did.  We now must visit New Orleans and hang out with all 250 of these guests very soon.

80s props: Always a huge crowd-pleaser.

Oh yes, we also cut that pretty cake {AND had a really wicked-cool groom’s cake – that Jenn surprised Blake with! … AND a cake for the bridesmaids to pull their cake charms from} :)

What’s a New Orleans wedding without the ever-famous, traditional Second Line Dance, led by – none other than – our newlyweds!!

Wow!  What a wedding!  And really, what an amazing couple.  We can’t express how much we truly adore you guys!  We really do mean it when we say that we wish you nothing but a lifetime of sheer and udder happiness!!

And, Miss Jenn, we completely love you to pieces!  Have an amazing Mardi Gras birthday!!!!!  Wish we could be there to celebrate with you!

Of course, last but certainly not least, we can’t thank our amazing team of wedding pros enough for doing what you all do best – we couldn’t do what we do without you all!  {You all know who you are!!  We can’t give away ALL our secrets now, can we???} ;)  To the amazing Amanda Suanne Photography – words can’t express how much we appreciate you sharing these amazing pictures – they say it all!

XOXO

The Jens
